FSR 175 – 100% Twineflon® Sealing cord for threaded joints

•  FSR 175 is a dynamic monofilament sealant which perfectly fits the thread during installation. It adjusts its shape in order to create a film with the same thickness needed to get a perfect sealing between the two pipe ends. 
• Highly resistant to most aggressive chemicals, solvents, fuels and acids. 
• It can be used within a wide range of temperatures: from -200°C up to +240°C. 
• It is not flammable. 
• It has no expiration date. 
• It is made of 100% Twineflon®, which guarantees a highly superficial resistance to fungal and bacterial growth, enzymes and microbes attack, fouling and oxidations. 
• It remains stable in the long term, it doesn’t dry out. 
• It can replace any sealant or tape on any kind of thread. 
• A single product for any use. 
• No effects on the process fluids with which it gets into contact inside the pipes. 
• Being made of Twineflon®, it doesn’t require the presence of additives in order to guarantee its sealant function. 

CERTIFICATIONS:

•  DIN-DVGW – it is approved for use with gas and water, in compliance with EN751-3 FRp, GRp and DIN 30660 (NV-5143BP0261) regulations. 
• DIN-DVGW – it is tested and approved for pipes fixing, up to 45°. 
• DVGW – it is tested and approved for up to 100 bar pressure, in 
• compliance with the EN751-3 testing register (tested at 23°C). 
• TZW – it is tested and approved for hot and cold water, in compliance with the recommendations provided by the German Ministry of Health. 
• BAM – it is tested and approved for installations with 30 bar gaseous oxygen and 100°C (used without assembly adjuvants, II-2742/2004E). 
• BAM – it is tested and approved for installations with 30 bar liquid oxygen and 100°C (used without assembly adjuvants, 
• II-2742/2004E). 
• WRAS – it is includede in the Water Regulations Advisory 
• Scheme U.K. for use with hot, cold and drinking water (Rif. 0212515). 
• ASTM F423 – Steam & Cold Water Cycle Test – approved to be used with up to 9 bar steam and 175°C. 
• UL tested according to 1321 standard for installations with gasoline, petroleum oils, naphtha, propane, butane, benzene, kerosene and natural gas (< 300 psig).
